How Darknet Transactions Happen
To test how a darknet transaction goes, the researchers placed an order for a dose of vaccine from a supplier using the Telegram app for interaction. They obtained the supplier's contact details and phone number through a darknet forum, which offered a supposed vaccine of Chinese origin for $ 750. Payment was made in Bitcoin, which makes it difficult to track suppliers. The researchers then provided a shipping address and requested the shipping details. After a few days of no response, they received a message from the supplier saying that the vaccine had been sent to the address indicated.
